Fluid Bed Dryer works on the principle of creating a fluid turbulence in a granulated or powdery wet product by means of hot or dehumidified air flowing in an upward direction and drying the product to the required degree.

SUITABLITY

The fluid bed dryers are most suitable for drying granules, crystalline, coarse or similar material in pharmaceuticals, fine chemicals, dryers, foodstuff and allied industries.

OPERATION

The wet material is loaded into the product container which is provide with air distributor plate and dutch weave mesh. Fresh air after filtration through coarse and 5 micron filters is heated by means of heater (steam or electrical). This hot air then passes through the product container, creating turbulence in the product and hence the product moves up and down and product is dried fast without appreciable heat loss. Filter bag prevents particles escaping from the dryer.

RAPIDMIX – High Shear Mixer Granulator has been developed for mixing of ingredients as well as wet granulation. The multi-bladed impeller is fitted close to the base of the mixing bowl whereas the chopper is mounted on the wall of the mixing bowl. Both the impeller & the chopper have dual-speed options for gently distributing the binder solution as it is added and creating the vortex of the material being mixed.

Starch Paste Kettle is used for preparation of binder materials which are widely used in medicine and food industries. Fast and even heating along with efficient stirring ensures good quality of starch paste is minimum amount of time. This machine has an electrically heated jacket, thus eliminating the need of providing a steam connection for heating.
